October was filled with Festivals--Wonderfully fun book festivals in Nashville, Baton Rouge and Austin.

Southern Festival of Books, October 9-11: held at the War Memorial Plaza in downtown Nashville. Always a great time, and this year was no exception, despite the WILD weather! My thanks to Humanities Tennessee for a very well-run and organized event, and a big Hello to all my friends --both old and new--I met there.

Louisiana Book Festival, State Capitol Grounds, Baton Rouge, October 17: My first time to attend Louisiana's Book Festival and I was so impressed. Incredible venue (who can beat the view!~) along with a huge variety of activities, entertaiment and vendors. Thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to go again and again.

Texas Book Festival, State Capitol, Austin, October 31-November 1: Another impressive event--our first time to attend. Beautiful Capitol and outstanding grounds, Great Set-up, Big crowds--I even got a peek and picture of author Sandra Brown! Like Louisiana, lots of children's activities, food and musical entertainment. Loved Austin and their awesome Halloween celebration downtown. Next time, I'll bring a costume!

My "Christian Bennett" tour is drawing to a close. Only 4 more events~~~hope you can make it out to one
